Adam smiled. Belle could not have looked more beautiful. In the light, her hair shimmered and her smile was ignited. As he walked towards her, he remained quiet. Simply watching her actions.

Walking up behind her, he offered a quiet, "Hello, my love," and gently wrapped his arms around her, "how are you this fine day?" Adam looked into Belle's eyes, still sporting a cheesy, toothy grin.

There was just something about her. Adam knew, at least for the moment - if not the rest of his life - that she was the one. He had been lucky enough to receive a second chance from Belle, after his childish behavior a year ago when they had first met. Since then, he and Belle had fallen madly in love - or at least he had with her - with each other, and begun a stable, happy relationship.

Today, Adam was hoping they'd get the chance to spend the beautiful day together, since he'd been busy the past week; and hadn't had much time to spend with his girlfriend.

"So, my dear, I belong to you today," he looked at her, still smiling, "I know I've promised you that frequently lately, and fallen through, but today I really mean it. I am yours. So, what would you like to do?"

It seemed like Adam was gone all the time. Now that he'd finally broken out of his beast-like shell, he'd been out all the time helping people. This left Isabelle to her books. Not a problem, but she did miss him.

The other night, he'd told her that she'd get him to herself for a night. Belle had been dreaming of it since then. She'd tried to plan exactly what they'd do.

As it always did, Belle's stomach filled with butterflies when she heard Adam's shoes walking towards her. She had been looking out the window at the time. She spun around when he reached her.

Hello, my love. How are you this fine day? he whispered to her as she melted into his arms. She looked up at him and smiled.

Oh, Adam. Much better now that you're here.

[/color] she said, her voice filled with happiness.

So, my dear, I belong to you today. I know I've promised you that frequently lately, and fallen through, but today I really mean it. I am yours. So, what would you like to do?

Belle's heart was fluttering like crazy. I know you've been busy. I understand. I was hoping we could pick out a few books and have a picnic outside. I've read some wonderful stories the past few days.[/color] she explained quickly. She was so anxious to spend time with her love.

If someone had told her she'd fall in love with Adam a year ago, she'd have laughed in their face. He had been mean, and coarse and unrefined. And all she'd wanted to do was rescue her father and take him home to safety. After that had been taken care of, and she'd truly gotten to know Adam, she realized he wasn't the "Beast" everyone had expected him to be.
